Spanish judge may open investigation on Gtmo torturers

A Spanish court has taken the first steps toward opening a criminal investigation into allegations that six former high-level Bush administration officials violated international law by providing the legal framework to justify the torture of prisoners at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, an official close to the case said.
Now, Spain did already speak back in january about filing charges against Israeli military leaders for war crimes in Palestine, and that fell by the way after Tzipi Livni spoke to Miguel Ángel Moratinos (spanish exterior affairs minister) and convinced him to back down. Let's see if this time things are different.....
